Outdoor Finnish Sauna

First Finnish-style Sauna in Hakuba
The Finnish-style sauna, with its lower temperature and higher humidity, allows you to gradually warm your body from the core over an extended period.
The steam from the self löyly and the smoke sauna further enhance the sweating process while adjusting the perceived temperature. Due to the high humidity, the heat’s damage to your hair and skin is minimized, providing a gentler experience.
Spectacular views of Hakuba and fully customized sauna
Our private sauna allows you to enjoy your sauna as much or as little as you like at any time of the day.
The temperature of the sauna is also flexible. In between saunas, you can take an outdoor air bath to feel the great nature of Hakuba, or enjoy a bonfire with your friends.
Enjoy yourself as you wish!

Water bath utilizing melted snow water from the Northern Alps

Water bath with high quality natural water from Hakuba Village’s wilderness
From P uses high-quality natural water produced by the great nature of Hakuba Village in its water baths. Hakuba Village’s natural water, which was created by rain and melting snow permeating the water over a long period of time, is rich in minerals because it is not treated except for filtration and disinfection. (See “Water Quality” below.) In addition, the water quality is slightly alkaline, which is said to facilitate absorption of the ingredients. (The acidity is equivalent to that of the human body.) Generally, the water bath after coming out of a sauna may feel cold and piercing to the skin, but Hakuba’s water bath is characterized by its soft texture that gently envelops the body after being heated.
Giant water bath in a “soy sauce barrel” inherited from a long-established soy sauce factory
From P is famous for its water bath using a huge soy sauce barrel.
We have taken over an unused soy sauce barrel from Daimon Soy Sauce, a long-established soy sauce specialty store that has been in business since the Meiji Era (1868-1912) and use it as a water bath.
With a diameter of 1.7 meters and a height of 2 meters, visitors can dive into the soy sauce barrel with all their might after being warmed to the core by the sauna.

*If you wish to use the soy sauce barrel, please make a separate reservation for the day sauna.
If you make a reservation for overnight stay only, you can only use the water bath attached to your room.
